NIEUPORT 11 BÉBÉ

It achievement to successfully restoring air power balance during the ‘Fokker Scourge’ of 1915 have led it names to be placed as one of the most effective, or may the finest fighter of World War I. Entering service at Summer 1915, it proved to be fast, maneuverable and well-able to stand against the Fokker Eindeckers. At Verdun in February 1916, it inflicted such a heavy losses on the enemy, forcing the Germans to alter their tactics. Also served with RNAS and RFC, one of RFC leading aces, Albert Ball scored the first of his victories in one of these.
