IAI (Israeli Aircraft Industries) KFIR
Suffered arms embargo imposed by France, its main combat aircraft supplier, The Israelis developing an expedient. They took an Dassault Mirage III airframe married with GE J79 Turbojet. IAI produced 27 Kfir C.1, 185 C.2 (Major production version) most of the C.2 upgraded to C.7, improving their engine thrust and avionics with two extra pylons. The Kfir played decisive action at Lebanon’s Bekaa Valley in 1980’s. 12 exported to Colombia
