HINDUSTAN HJT-16 KIRAN
It flew for the first time on 4 September 1964, designed as a basic and advanced jet trainer. 190 aircrafts ordered for the Indian Air Force. In 1977, start from the 119th prototype, it was modified for light attack and weapon training as Kiran MK.Ia, the final derivative being the Kiran Mk.II
